Chip Roy endorses Ron DeSantis for president

~1 minute

Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) endorsed Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) for president in 2024 on Wednesday over other Republican contenders, including former President Donald Trump.

Roy, who serves as the policy chairman for the Freedom Caucus, called DeSantis a "man of conviction" in a release announcing his endorsement.

DeSantis has not announced a bid for president but is widely expected to announce a White House campaign in late May or early June.

This is a breaking story and will be updated.

Applaud this, but taking sides this early unecessarily just fosters early division.

I'd prefer to see how much damage Pedo Joe does before seeing our politcal leaders doing hard line alignment.

Example:  If the DC corruption  overwhelming exceeds even our most egregious  trains of thought......

Maybe a Trump scorched earth response may the course of action we need (Asbestos Suit On)
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

Agreed. I'd prefer no one even officially announce until at least summer 2023.
