BBC journalist Amol Rajan recently braved going off the mainstream media script, asking the Microsoft co-founder how he responds to charges that he’s a hypocrite for claiming to be “a climate change campaigner” while traveling the world on his private jets, even to confabs where global elites tell poor and middle-class families to live simpler lives and stop using fossil fuels.

One of his jets is a $40 million Bombardier BD-700.

Mr. Gates also spends his riches (estimated 2022 post-divorce net worth: $107 billion) telling people what they should eat, what cars they should drive, what their children should learn in school, and more.

Yes,there is. IF there isn't "anti-monolopy laws" on the books,and I think there are,that prevent ANYONE from owning or controlling too much property in the US,there should  be because not doing so will allow anyone with the money Gates has from controllling the county by,in this case,controlling the food supply.

AND.......,if I remember this  correctly,these laws would also prevent any investment group or banking concern from creating a monolopy,also.

However,just because there are laws on the books,I realize this doesn't mean that "we,the people" still have the power to make sure these laws are enforced.

BTW,IIRC,these laws were put into place during the Great Depression when the yankee carpetbagger bankers came south to buy up farm land and commercial properties at pennies on the dollar. Even the socialists in the FDR administration back then recognized the  danger that represented.
