Baloney. None of us wants war. It is possible to think both Putin and Zelensky are unworthy of support, without inconsistency.

Did I say anything about you?  No, I did not.  Have you consistently supported Putin, ever since Feb. 24, 2022, no you have not (at least not publicly on this forum).  Have others on this forum consistently supported Putin since the orcs crossed the Ukraine border?  Yes.  Have they consistently made excuses for the orcs, and lied through their teeth despite obvious evidence to the contrary?  Yes they have.

WADR, if one consistently supports a bloodthirsty aggressor, one wants war.  No two ways about it.

If you say so. I haven't seen any overt support at this forum for Putin's invasion of Ukraine.

I didn't support Putin then, I don't support him now. Nor do I support the U.S. sending our tax dollars - money we don't have- to that part of the world (whether or not it actually ends up buying weapons or just going into Zelensky's pocket).

Oh well.  I have.  Speaking of Zelensky, I assume you have actual proof of money going from the U.S. Treasury into his pocket, and not just fact-free conjectures and slurs from people who have no facts to speak of?

I did not say that. I said "whether or not."
I made no accusations against President Z. Please don't put words in my mouth.

Though conflicting claims, I guess that 40K Euro spending spree in Paris last Chirstmas by Mrs. Zellinskyyyyyyyy was chump pocket change.

And before claiming it is disputed, which I know you will.....   why would the missus be in Paris during war time in the first place.

Ahh.  So you have proof of cashflows showing that those funds originated from the U.S. Treasury?  Or, again, is that just fact-free speculation ginned up to buttress a pre-determined hatred for Ukraine?

You are becoming an expert on putting incorrect wording in other briefer's mouths over, over, and over, and  that's bullshit.

I have never shown, stated, or exhibited ever a hatred for Ukraine, and in fact support the plight of their people, and that includes my disgust with Putin.    So quit distorting our postions.

OTOH, Zellinskyyyyyy is a shchiester, and has milked and bilked our treasury out of Billions.   And in the case of the Missusses., just where did she get her money for her Paris shopping   Sure not from EU or NATO countries, because they sure aren't footing the bill equitiably.

Your support for Zellinsky just adds to your complicity in this scam.

And today Biden's adding fuel to the fire:

"NOW - Biden on NATO: "Russia knows it as well. An attack against one is an attack against all." (Video)

Okay, but Ukraine is not a NATO member, right?
I know it wants to be, but it is not.

In this we are in agreement.
Zelensky is bad, Putin is worse, neither of them are saints.
This is why NATO countries were concerned with Ukraine being a member.
like a mob boss and an underling going at it, while the average people of both countries pay the price.

Well stated.  Except Zellshitsky is taking my tax dollars.  And that makes my blood boil, even when we have Red State conservatives in Ohio suffering an environmental disaster, where that same money could go to help them recover.

Just what, exactly, makes Zelensky bad?  Standing up to the Russians?  Fighting for his own country against foreign invasion?  Aggressively pitching woo to financial supporters for the weapons he needs to fight of the extinction of his own country?

Or maybe it's just that he was a silly little actor prior to getting elected to the presidency?

If anyone would have had the courage to stop Hitler early on millions of lives could have been saved. The world would be a very different place.

Putin is trying to put the Soviet band back together again and has said as much. Only fools would allow that to continue unopposed.

And the longer the West lets things go, the worse, and more expensive, it is going to be to put the Orc back in his place.

It needs to be put on file some where that Russia was the invader. And that Russia was the one to withdraw from the treaty.

Any leader of a nation that is under sustained destruction by a violent opponent would be utterly remiss in not trying to make arrangements to fund the reconstruction of his shattered nation.

Why is Zelensky being shat upon for looking out for his country financially and trying to make arrangements with private investors to rebuild his country?

The inconsistencies in that shitting-upon are staggering.

Your lack of understanding of ESG, and what it means and does to this country is breathtakingly sad.  Read up on it a bit, before playing the "shat" card

I know what ESG is.  If it bothers you so much that Zelenskyy is looking for funds from Blackrock, then would you support the U.S. funding Ukrainian reconstruction instead?

I didn’t think so.  If one is not willing to pony up the funds, one has no ground to complain when someone in need looks elsewhere.

Damn, you can not see the forest from the trees can you?   :thud:

That funding doesn't have one damned thing to do with it.  The POINT was that Zellinsky is in bed with ESG and its agenda of Enviro-whacko shit and D&I.

Guessing you are for all that huh?  And this same guy sucking on the left hind teat of our tax dollar Sow?  Connect some dots for a change.

Zelenskyy needs funding to rebuild a devastated country.  Where is that funding going to come from?  Were I in his shoes, I’d be talking to anyone and everyone with money.

In point of fact, he’s asked the US and the western powers to help with rebuilding, and the chorus here is “not with my money”.  So what else do you expect him to do?  It’s awfully easy to have such high falutin moralistic sensitivities when one lives in a peaceful country and doesn’t have to worry where the food for millions is going to come from.  Not so easy when one is the leader of a war torn nation.

There’s a term that gets used for liberals with such touchy sensitivities; perhaps it belongs here as well.

Your love of Zellinsky, puts you in the same boat as Turdle, Schumer, and a host of other RINOS and socialist dims.  Now, you are endorisng a foreign investor in American ESG principals too.  Liberal sensitivities?  I have had enough hyprocricies for one day.  Thanks for the clarifications.

So, you have no substantive response, so you engage in childish name-calling.  Oh well.
