Hey leftist judge, it doesn't take a rocket scientist or a constitutional scholar to understand "shall not be infringed"... nor does it take the above to understand leftist using the courts to supplant God-given rights that even surpass Constitutional promises not to infringe.
Unless there is something peculiar about Oregon law respecting the powers and authority of sheriffs, that is not a true statement. Certainly it is the case that, in a dispute, it is ultimately a court that will have the final say on whether a provision is constitutional or not - the Supreme Court in the case of the U.S. Constitution, but that does not mean that all other government agencies are not permitted to determine what is, and what is not, constitutional. In point of fact, the executive, subject to review by the courts, is required to make the initial determination of constitutionality, precisely because the executive should not be engaging in acts that it knows are unconstitutional.
No doubt, this stupid judge is perfectly fine with immigration sanctuary cities deciding for themselves which bits of federal immigration law they will, or will not, adhere to.
