Just another reason we have no business going to war right now under hardly any circumstances. Especially in defense of Ukraine.

The quality of leadership in the Pentagaon is dismal.

@catfish1957

That post makes no sense at all.

Number :1 Our senior officers are NOT going to Ukraine to tell them how to fight the war.

Number 2 Since the Ukraine military is handing their asses to the Neo-Soviets,we can only HOPE they come here to teach OUR officers  how to fight once Putin is overthrown and the Russian soldiers go back to Russia.

Uhhhh,if they missed them,how do they know the balloons were ever there?

Is there no end to the left's attempts to demonize Trump?

I'm sure that President Trump was supposed to gaze up at the heaven's to locate balloons missed by the Pentagon. Puleeez!!!!!  *****rollingeyes*****

Remember the West Point graduation ceremony caught on video several years of several of the graduating pleebs taking their jackets off and revealing "Communist Party USA" T-shirts worn beneath them?

It was one guy - a graduating senior cadet who subsequently was stripped of his commission and given an OTH

If the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) is not watching the skies, why do we need them?

Santa Claus can find his way without them.

@Maj. Bill Martin

Thanks for th, update. The article I read implied there were several of them.

As for their commissions,I was under the impression that WPC's received their commissions as a part of their graduation ceremony? Is this true,or not?

  • I was a "conspiracy theorist". Now I'm just right.
First thought  I had was about tracking Santa
You'd think anyone who could track eight reindeer and an old guy in a sleigh could pick up a 200 ft. balloon with a 1 ton cargo...

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Yes, they do.  He was subsequently stopped of his, though.

And to be clear, Plebes are freshman, so they obviously don't get commissioned.

Well, you referenced "graduating pleebs" (sic) in an earlier post, and if the article said that, then it means the author didn't know what he wa talking about.

"Graduating cadets" makes sense - "graduating plebes" does not.

Being an enlisted swine,I had no love or interest in The Long Gray Line,so chances are the "plebe/cadet" thing was just my brain fart.
