Where's the outpouring of physical and monetary support from the US (and other Western nations) for an actual NATO ally in dire need??

It's a disgrace.

So far the US has committed 85 million(to bad their not Ukraine) in 2010 the US committed 41 million(almost 55 million todays dollars) so far though Turkey is luck in that I haven't heard that the Clinton Foundation is involved.
Blinken just announced US aid is now 100 million. Syria is the problem, how to get aid to people without it being stolen by the rebels.

I think its WAYYY overdue!  I'm glad you left when you did!

And from what I have read, even the volunteers willing to go to Syria for humanitarian aid can't gain access or permission from the government.

It could hit the East Coast, too, where it would be orders of magnitude more damaging.

A 7.0 would devastate the east coast.

6.4 magnitude earthquake hits southern Turkey
3 minutes ago

A 6.4 magnitude earthquake has struck southern Turkey, weeks after a deadly quake devastated the region.

Turkey's disaster and emergency agency Afad said the tremor occurred at 20.04 local time (17.04 GMT).

Witnesses told the Reuters news agency there had been further damage to buildings in Antakya.

A 7.8-magnitude struck the region on 6 February, killing more than 44,000 people in Turkey and Syria.

New Madrid major earthquakes tend to happen in about a 500 year cycle.

What an incredibly awful thing to befall these people.

I simply can’t imagine.

No, Turkey is not 100% Muslim.  However, Christian, Jewish and other religions (some 200,000 or more) are small in comparison. And while Turkey has a secular constitution, with no official state religion it is certainly not like ours.

Not that I don't think they deserve help, they are in fact now 98% moslem and that has been the de facto state religion for quite some time as Christians and Jews have emigrated to countries more compitable. Turkey is no longer the nation of tolerance to all religions, especially under Erdogan.

Humans are humans...right?  Maybe God is giving us this opportunity to help them and in so doing to be able to witness to them.  I'm pretty sure that's what Samaritan's Purse is doing.

Yes.

Samaritan’s Purse President Franklin Graham, and son, Edward, met with patients and our medical team at our Emergency Field Hospital in Antakya, Turkey, on Feb. 18.

While the Grahams were onsite, two people who had been pulled from the rubble in recent days arrived by ambulance to our Emergency Field Hospital. The two had been receiving treatment at a facility elsewhere, but were transferred to the Samaritan’s Purse hospital for additional critical care. As they were rushed in, Franklin Graham was able to witness our team at work in the emergency room. He stepped out after a short time, allowing them space to care for the patients.

“We’ve got an incredible team of people working here from all over the world,” Franklin Graham said. Both Grahams spent quality time encouraging the Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) this week. About 100 Samaritan’s Purse staffers, including medical and non-medical disaster specialists, are on the ground in the region.

The field hospital has received more than 500 patients and provided numerous surgeries since opening Feb. 13. Our doctors, nurses, and medical personnel are treating those rushed to our hospital with broken bones, infections, and other urgent needs stemming from deadly earthquakes that decimated entire communities. The team is also seeing patients who need care for serious chronic illnesses that require attention in light of the fact that the region’s healthcare system has been crippled. ...
