Chinese spy balloon shot down over the Atlantic Ocean
General Jack Keane joined ‘Fox News Live’ to discuss the breaking news that the Chinese spy balloon was shot down.

The U.S. military has shot down the Chinese spy balloon over the Atlantic Ocean.

While the balloon was off the coast of South Carolina, the balloon was shot down by U.S. military fighter jets on Saturday afternoon, according to Fox News sources.

A senior defense official said during a Thursday afternoon briefing that the U.S. government is "confident" the surveillance balloon is from the People's Republic of China.

When asked about the balloon on Saturday by a reporter, Biden said "we're going to take care of it."

Of course, we will subsequently learn that the debris unfortunately sank in a particularly deep part of the Atlantic, and nothing was recovered.

We likely, will never know for sure but I'll bet Biden begged Xi to steer it out to the ocean so he could shoot it down and take the heat off.  The last I looked, the Atlantic is not the shortest distance between China and the US.  And since we now know it's not the first time the balloons have been used spy on us, it seems quite clear this "shoot down" was politically planned.
