Yep! Sure do. The churches handled it quietly, local folks pitched in with 'you might know someone who can use this' or 'I sure could use some help with pulling stumps or some other chore'..sort of donations (to preserve dignity), and never any mention made.
Now, it's whip out the EBT over a pile of steaks, while the rest of us sweat at buying a couple extra pounds of burger or another dozen eggs.
