I hope he is burning in hell listening to the cries of all the unborn souls he murdered..

I'm not familiar with him.
I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

I don't know, does Satan punish such a good soldier of his? I would he he gets an eternity of pain and suffering, like being torn apart in the womb ,it's the reward he deserves.

Estimated babies he killed at 90k

Strange society we are....

Kevorkian gets 8 years and numerous arrests for assisting 130 terminally ill patients, while this guy gets off, not only scott free, but the left celebrates his actions for basically 90K babies.

Not only that, the left now embraces what Kevorkian did, with the exception that they also want to terminate those that may not want to...how Naziesque of them.

Canadian folk music icon Gordon Lightfoot dead at 84

Quote

Canadian folk music icon Gordon Lightfoot, whose evocative and poetic songs are etched into the musical landscape of Canada, has died at the age of 84, according to his longtime publicist Victoria Lord.

Lord says Lightfoot died at a Toronto hospital on Monday evening. The cause of death was not immediately available

Born in Orillia, Ont., Lightfoot was hailed as Canada's folk troubadour for his soulful music and stirring lyrics. In songs such as The Canadian Railroad Trilogy and The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald, he explored the country's history, geography and culture.

"He is our poet laureate, he is our iconic singer-songwriter," said Rush singer Geddy Lee in the 2019 documentary Gordon Lightfoot: If You Could Read My Mind.

One of the greats of s/s genre. Easily in top 10.

Since I am a history buff, I especially like his work, The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.  Wish he would have stayed with that concept a bit more,  He would have done nicely as the Johnny Horton of his era.

Loved his music.

I still turn the volume up whenever they play a song of his on the Radio.  Especially like "Sundown"

OMG!!  One of my favorites.  The song about the Edmund Fitzgerald has a special meaning -- we were married at the Mariners Cathederal that rings the bells in honor of those lost.  We were very fortunate to have seen him in concert a couple of years ago.
RIP Gordon Lightfoot.  You were one of a kind and your music phenomenal.  8888crybaby

......In a musty old hall in Detroit they prayed
In the maritime sailors' cathedral
The church bell chimed 'til it rang twenty-nine times
For each man on the Edmund Fitzgerald
The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down
Of the big lake they called Gitche Gumee
Superior, they said, never gives up her dead
When the gales of November come early

I doubt so as he wasn't one of those missing (obviously).  The song/ballad told their story; I hope they say a mass in his honor. Who knows, maybe they will ring the bells 30 times, just this once.

Gordon Lightfoot was truly something special in this world.

We were lucky to have him and his music for as long as we did.
