Look I respect their views, I may not agree with them sometimes but they have just as much right to them as I to mine. I understand not wanting to sink to the lefts level but you know what? The reason so many people support Trump is because he resonates with their being fed up with the polite we gotta be fair bullsquat that got America in the hole it's in.

@GtHawk

I will never understand why ALL Americans that want to live free don't support Trump. After all,he is the ONLY politician that wants to see America as a Free Nation once again, and not beholden to an over-powerful corrupt government.

OOOPS! I forgot that he is "Rude Orange Man" and insults the corrupt bastards in office by telling the truth about them. This seems to make RINO's and their socialist/communist pals in the DNC uncomfortable, and we wouldn't want THAT to happen, would we?

Whoa! we seem to have driven plumb off the thread! I thought we were talking about Santos and my reply to you was about differing Briefer opinions on him...or so I thought? I know I used Trump as a example, but not to hijack the thread.

What laws has Santos broken?

The law against being a Republican.  If he were a Democrat Senator from Connecticut making up lies about serving in Vietnam, then it would be a non-issue.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."

Yes.
Let the incoming Republican majority give him a good hard slap on the wrist, but then let him be seated.

Then, primary him next time 'round.
But who knows -- maybe the guy will actually turn out to be a plus for the right side...

  • I was a "conspiracy theorist". Now I'm just right.
What was his platform,  I wonder.
Does it matter?

It's all lies, anyway.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

And there it is.

I can tolerate many personality types but liars I have no time for. There is no point. It is all smoke and mirrors and a waste of time and effort.
