"Hey @tedlieu I just drove through your district. Care to explain why you treat Americans like this while sending $100B to Ukraine?" (Video)

Why are people being imported illegally and set up in ritzy hotels in the most expensive metro areas instead of $250/week kitchenette places further out? When that money gets cut off, they'll go back to rooting through the garbage like in the old country and amplify the images you see there. Millions of them in just two years.
I'd rather help the Ukrainians fight the Russians there.
But this administration is is busy importing this mess here and stepping over American Citizens to do it. Granted, among the homeless, drugs are rampant and you can't force someone to quit--they gotta want to--and most won't once they get a spike in their arm.
Some are there by choice, simply unable to cope with the ever expanding rules and BS in the workplace (DEI?, etc.) and elsewhere in daily life.
There is a simpler, more primal attraction to living off grid, dealing in cash, and not having to maintain appearances. I'd even bet there are those who got completely under water doing just that (maintaining appearances, placating the HOA, etc.), and lost it all.
Any more say the wrong thing the wrong way to the wrong person, and HR will have you escorted out by the end of the day. There IS no free speech.
Now, we don't have much of a homeless problem here, (40 to 50 below zero wind chills this week), HR isn't as pissy as it is in the cities, and most of us just keep our mouths shut, anyway. Besides, anyone who works in the Oil Patch knows it can all come to a stop tomorrow, so eff appearances, you try to set yourself up so you can survive the next bust, and hardly anyone wears a suit to work anyway. More like FR Carhardts, and they're just as expensive, anyway.
What you are seeing is much more common in warmer climates.
