The National Archives warned President Joe Biden's lawyers last month that hundreds of emails related to Hunter Biden and his Burisma business deal were set to be publicly released.
Insider broke the story and said that the White House has yet to say whether Biden would stop the release of 185 email messages, and 75 partials emails by claiming executive privilege. If not, the emails will be released on February 28.
A representative for the Archives reached out to White House Counsel Stuart Delery, Biden's campaign lawyer Robert Lenhard and top officials at the Obama Foundation on November 30 to inform them records related to Biden's vice presidency would be released under the Freedom of Information Act.
