@Kamaji
That is certainly the stupidest thing I have heard this whole year. Trump was leading billion dollar corporations while you were sucking a pacifier. While he was building an empire and gigantic skyscrapers, you were taking out loans to get your CompSci degree so you can sit in a cubical the rest of your life. Hey. Look at the bright side, you will never be POTUS but if you are a 'good boy' you may finally nab that 8x8 cubical so-called 'office'.
The fact that you refuse to admit ANY SINGLE SOLITARY GOOD THING Trump accomplished while swimming in a pool of backstabbers, liars, and sabotages, under constant nonstop harassment, tells me all I need to know. You are the typical kind of 'conservative' who loves RINOs and hates anything even indirectly related to Trump. If you are lucky maybe we can bring Romney back?
But, so what? That is just who and what you are. You will likely change over the next decades but that does not matter today. I enjoy your posts and your banter. Good luck with everything that you do.
Here’s the thing: every excuse you just made up for Trump simply proved my point that he was not, and is not, fit for office.
Reagan was working against even worse headwinds, and managed to get a lot accomplished because he understood how to be a political leader.
And that is one of the other points: being good at fleecing investors - and that is basically what Trump did - does not ipso facto make one a good political leader. That goes even for legitimate business men and women who run real businesses.
Finally, Trump is not self-made; he relied on daddy’s money and, quite frankly, if he had simply invested his inheritance in some index funds he would have done better than he was able to do on his own. So even on that score, he wasn’t even a really good business man. Just a good grifter.
