I have always ignored this stuff in the past. But it may be time for a little pushback. This Blackwashing White history has gone too far. There were no such thing as Black Vikings. No Black European Kings and Queens. And no Black Romans or Greeks. There may have been a dozen or so Black cowboys, but this was very far from normal.
While we all know this, these race twisting shows are confusing those too young to know the difference. Regardless of what the American Left is pushing it is not a sin to be White, now or in history.
Not saying White is superior, I'm only saying that White is what it was. That cannot be changed by rewriting history.
Actually, there were quite a few black cowboys, holdovers from the Buffalo Soldiers, and some intermarried with American Indians out here. I have known a few of their descendants. Many of the cowboys were American Indians, too. (It puts a whole different slant on "Cowboys and Indians", doesn't it?) Nothing is as simple as presented, for the most part. History is messy, and rewritten to be all shiny and black and white by lazy or ignorant historians.
That said, I am against the egregious 'blackwashing' of European History, especially when I consider some of the ones being blackwashed are ancestors or relatives, and documented to be otherwise.
