He can say that the state of the Republic being what it is...in the spirit of UNITY not of the GOP, but America...he is suspending his campaign to support President Trump.

Sure. I'm happy to take your money.

Personally, I would have preferred DeSantis to wait until 2028, because it is quite clear that (a) Trump cannot win a general election, and (b) he is going to make sure that nobody else will get the GOP nomination, even if he has to steal it.

That being said, if GOP primary voters are stupid enough to continue swallowing the con from the Orange Turd, I fully expect Mr. DeSantis to act like an adult - something Trump is incapable of doing - and withdraw his campaign in order to support the choice of the primary voters.

Unlike Trump, DeSantis is not a spoilt child who publicly holds grudges and runs home with the ball just because he doesn't get to be captain of the team.
