I note that they include the Santa Monica pier, just north of it is the fabulous Jonathan Beach Club https://www.jc.org/. I guarantee you that there is armed security to keep the homeless rabble from it's pristine beaches and grounds so as to not disturb the wealthy and well connected of Hollywood, politics and other self important turds. Having done work at the club I know well the attitudes of them when they relax and feel safe to drop their public personas.

Those unalienable Rights have always existed.
After the Constitution confers limited powers and duties on the Federal Government, it includes a list of things the Federal Government is explicitly forbidden to mess with, and even says that isn't everything the Federal Government isn't supposed to mess with, those are just the basics.
The Right to Keep and Bear Arms is just one of those Rights.
