He's right on one day of voting. 100% right. I'll give him that.

He isn’t living in reality.  No-excuse early voting began out west in the 80s, and has become more popular with every election.  Donald is too old to adapt.  Same with the vaccines — he just can’t imagine why anyone would have a problem with them.

Only 10 pages... RIV must be slipping.

Not RIV...

Trump is just not generating the buzz and excitement outside his shrinking but enthusiastic and loud ultra supporters.

Thank you Mr. Trump, outside you running up the national debt faster than any other POTUS in history, you did a good job.

They’re definitely  in a tight bubble.

Could Trump secure the nomination and go on to win? Anything is possible. I don’t think anyone will have any difficulty finding enough people that know Biden is an absolute disaster

Granted, but it needs to be time limited to a reasonable amount in some fashion. This business of taking weeks to count is just complete bullshit.

I still think there needs to be an honest understanding of Trump's fiscal record......
Okay, here are the numbers adjusted for inflation in what I have calculated with a 1981 Reagan CPI Benchmark Year....

1. Trump- $1.707T/yr. ($567 B/yr. inflation adjusted)
2. Obama- $1.039T/yr ($372 B/yr. inflation adjusted)
3. GWB- $763 B/yr. ($314 B/yr. inflation adjusted)
4. GWHB- $388 B/yr.($237 B/yr. inflation adjusted)
5. Reagan- $232 B/yr.  ($166 B/yr.  inflation adjusted)
6. WJC- $174 B/yr.  ($86 B/yr. Inflation adjusted)

As you can see, and is what is interesting, is even with inflation adjustment the rankings have not changed, only less pronounced.
The deficit (even inflation adjusted) rose more under Trump's administration than any other since and including Reagan.

And to the detractors who previously stated that Trump had to deal with Crisis.  All of the above minus Clinton had the same....

Reagan- Digging us  out of the Carter disaster
GHWB- Gulf War
Clinton- Exception...  No major crisis
GWB- War on Terror, and those unnecessary costs
Obama- Great Recession and worst economic conditions since the '30's

@art.prout  @aligncare

I thought Trump's speech was excellent and on-point.  I felt relief that he officially announced his promise to once again lead our country to its rightful place at home and around the world.  I also felt hopeful for the first time in two years.  Trump asked for my support:  he's got it ---- He asked for my prayers: they wiil be unceasing ---- And he asked for my vote:  take it to the bank.

There will be a coodinated and frenzied opposition from within the media, from every globalist and socialist, the establishment GOP,  every wannabe, back-bencher, ankle-biter, and hater. So to anyone who supports Donald Trump, my unsolicited advice is:  Buckle up!   888high58888

Well stated....   And if he gets the nomination....  he'll get my vote.   Till then, that role for '24 is up for debate.

What is your position if takes the 3rd party role, and hands the dims the election?

I listen to what Trump says and dismiss baseless media/pundit speculation.  Trump is runniing for the nomination of the Republican Party.

It will be easy enough to listen to what Trump says, but it's what he says that will ultimately sway the Republican party. (Yes, avoiding pundits and interpretations will help filter out the nonsense.) He will never be subtle and will chew on grievances to the bitter end. Trump will be nominated or go down in a blaze of furiousness. If he gets the nomination, I don't see how he looses. Unless something blows up in his face or the ballots in donkey pouches don't reach their destinations!!!

Trump Shocks the World—by Nearly Putting Us to Sleep
By Bob Hoge | 12:45 AM on November 16, 2022

For all those tuning into Donald Trump’s announcement of his presidential candidacy Tuesday night expecting to see a rip-roaring, fired-up Trump tearing into Joe Biden, trashing the fake news, and just generally riling up the crowd, you were disappointed. Trump was unusually calm, almost somber even, and spoke mostly in a slightly-hoarse monotone. While he certainly delivered some of his red meat lines, he rarely went into his trademark ranting mode and stayed away from hot topics like the 2020 election, Crooked Hillary, and January 6. The words “Russia collusion” never came out of his mouth.

Okay, I get that.  But we’ve been struggling with out of control debt and deficits my whole life.  Government spending, albeit an important issue, is a distraction at this time.  It’s vital that we focus on the big picture.

America is reaching a tipping point in politics that could threaten the very foundation of our constitutional freedoms and ruin irreparably America’s economic engine.

We need effective America First leadership now and Trump is the one person uniquely positioned to push back against the left.  The agenda he outlined last night is exactly what we need, especially regarding elections.  I hope everyone keeps that in mind.

@aligncare there have been several times where Trump has said something and then backpedaled and there are times where has hasn't done what he says he's going to do.  Sure we can blame the DEMS but sometimes he runs his mouth when he shouldn't. Sorry, but that just being realistic.

Understand that I think Trump made a great president and he had this country headed in a positive direction.  I get that.

He carries with him a lot of baggage and also has court cases that are still pending; those cases in themselves could be a hindrance to him running or being indicted. Then what??

His message remains clear and IMHO he needs to pass on the baton so to speak.  I believe DeSantis is quite capable and his proven over and over again his ability to push back.  Other possible candidates; Noem, Pompeo, Cruz, Youngkin and Paul. All would make good viable candidates.

Unless Trump, the GOP and the RNC can put systems in place to ensure election integrity, the DEMS will steal another election anyways.  So before we get all giddy and excited about '24 something has to be done to ensure election integrity, there is no room to continue to kick this issue down the road.

Secondly, if he continues to berate good conservatives, he will fracture the party and inevitably hand the DEMS the WH in '24.

I have supported Trump for the most part throughout his presidency, but  IMHO it's time he step aside. The MAGA movement is still thriving and I believe in order for it to continue he needs to select someone to carry on his legacy and back them.

Yes, in one of the most brazen stealing of an election in American history.

And it also happened during the mid terms.  What has changed?  The RNC, nor the GOP did anything. Certain states implemented some laws to protect the integrity of elections but for the most part, everyone sat around and did nothing.

There is no one that can replace Trump.  Trump birthed the modern MAGA movement.  It will die without Trump at the helm.  I still consider Trump to be a non politician.  Every one else that could potentially run are all politicians.  Most politicians can’t be trusted with America’s future.

The GOP embodies the electoral concept of bringing a knife to a gun fight.  This is going to go on in infinitum until some drastic measures are taken.

The money IS the big picture. They cannot drive us into the ground without destroying the dollar. They cannot control us and impose their will, shoving it down our throats without their overweening federal government which necessarily costs money.

Take away their money and the government HAS TO shrink. and as it shrinks it's power fades. Liberalism cannot exist in a proper federalist America.

It is NOT a distraction. There is no bigger picture. It is literally the ONLY issue, because the minute their money is gone, their power is gone.

This is no different than any other pseudo-conservative movement.
ALWAYS excusing big government... Throwing fiscal conservatism and libertarianism under the bus. AGAIN.

When the only fix IS fiscal conservatism and libertarian in nature.

And when you're done GROWING the government AGAIN SOMMORE, and the Democrats come to power again, That big 'beautiful' government you continued to build will be all the bigger and all the stronger for the Democrats to use.

This ain't rocket science. Half of winning at pool is leaving the cue ball in a difficult place for your opponent. Continuing big government is not doing that, and then everyone is surprised when the Dems get a shot and run the table. *SMH*

I disagree.  Yes, Trump created the MAGA, but are you stating that the passion that his base has will die without him?  He was their voice, not the other way around.  Leadership is key, I agree but I believe that another leader without his baggage is going to be crucial in winning in '24.  Yes, continue the MAGA agenda absolutely, just someone else needs to lead.
