How does perpetuating a material lie square with Democrats’ professed concern for democracy?

It’s not hyperbole to say that Tuesday night’s Pennsylvania Senate debate may have saved the state and the country from another two years of liberal wreckage. Voters finally learned what the Democratic Party, the liberal media, campaign officials, John Fetterman’s doctor, and particularly his ambitious wife, Gisele, have been trying desperately to hide: Fetterman’s stroke earlier this year has rendered him unfit to perform the duties of a senator.
 
For months, this group worked together to conceal the truth from voters, and they were prepared to do whatever was necessary to carry him over the finish line. Unfortunately for them, from the moment Fetterman uttered his first words during the debate — “Hi. Good night, everybody” — the jig was up.

Knowing Fetterman was in no shape for a debate, his campaign tried desperately to avoid one. They saw nothing wrong with covering up a material fact about their candidate’s fitness for office. America already has a “Weekend at Bernie’s” president. Why not a senator as well?

Dem leaders and lib scribblers are pretending to believe that Fetterman's brain injury wouldn't matter...he wouldn't have to speak...just vote yes or no.
In reality, Fetterman's brain impairment means he wouldn't be able to judge the issues before the Senate in any kind of sentient way. Granted, I think most Dem pols are brain-damaged, but you know what I mean.
Of course, if the Republicans ran a brain-damaged candidate like Fetterman, the Dems would be screaming bloody murder.
They know he's damaged goods, but they don't care.

It squares perfectly with their concern for democracy:  when a Democrat says "democracy" he or she does not mean rule by the δῆμος, he or she means rule by Democrats.  Any action that aids Democrats in securing, maintaining, or enlarging majorities in any legislative body or occupancy of any elected executive branch office (in the Federal government there is only the Presidency and Vice Presidency, but in state governments there are often many) or elected judgeships in the states is an expression of their concern for "democracy" as they use the word, no matter how dishonest, treacherous or otherwise contemptible that action may be.
