The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are twenty gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg.

That requires a hit...maybe.

These systems will be subject to a lot more abuse (g-forces, bouncing, vibration) than a car on the pavement. And that's before they get shot at.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

@Smokin Joe

Or maybe even a thunderstorm and a muddy field.

Sometimes it just seems like nobody in the current generation of the "bosses of today" just never managed to hear and absorb the wisdom in the expression,"If it ain't broke,don't try to fix it!"

Looks like the BattleZone game 1980. They had tanks like this.
Wonder if that's where they got the idea.

You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.
Rational fear and anger at vicious murderous Islamic terrorists is the same as irrational antisemitism, according to the Leftists.

If the "bosses of today" want to get the next promotion they have to leave their mark on something. This usually means a new rule in a regulation or a new system that replaces an older system and doesn't do everything the old system does. Then the troops put up with the headache and pay the price.

Sure seems that way. modification without innovation, and nothing streamlined.

THIS is what an "electric tank" will look like, after the battery explodes:

Or like THIS, after the battery runs down and it's destroyed by enemy fire:
