@Smokin Joe Sometimes it just seems like nobody in the current generation of the "bosses of today" just never managed to hear and absorb the wisdom in the expression,"If it ain't broke,don't try to fix it!"
That's been the first commandment of the oil patch for all the time I've been there.
If the "bosses of today" want to get the next promotion they have to leave their mark on something. This usually means a new rule in a regulation or a new system that replaces an older system and doesn't do everything the old system does. Then the troops put up with the headache and pay the price.
