Michigan Ballot Proposal Pushed by Democrats Would Allow Murderers and Rapists to Vote From Behind BarsActivist leaders are speaking out against a Michigan ballot proposal that would allow felons to vote from behind bars.
Proposal 2, led by a far-left organization calling themselves “Promote the Vote,” would amend the Michigan state constitution in order to make mandatory voter ID illegal, allow for private interests to buy crucial election infrastructure, eviscerate signature verification standards, and permit limitless ballot harvesting with no accountability. But perhaps the most offensive provision in the proposal is allowing convicted murderers, rapists and other felons to vote from behind bars.
“Everyone I talk to is stunned to find out the truth that Proposal 2 could make it easier for criminals to vote,” Casey Armitage, chairwoman of the 9th Congressional District Republican Committee, told the Detroit News Wire.
