Scientists Are Finding Fungi in Cancerous Tumors
Experts aren’t sure if the fungi affect the disease’s progression

Humans live in harmony with our microbiome—a collection of microorganisms in and on our bodies. Each person could host roughly 39 trillion of these tiny organisms, such as bacteria and fungi. Scientists have long understood that the microbiome is vital to our health.

But now, two new studies show that fungi can also be found in a rather unexpected place: cancerous tumors.

The studies, published last week, provide “pretty compelling evidence there may be rare fungi” within these masses of tissue, Ami Bhatt, a microbiome specialist at Stanford University who wasn’t involved with either study, tells Stat News’ Angus Chen. But the work raises questions, such as, “Are they alive or not? And assuming they really are there, then why are they there? And how did they get there?” she says.

While the findings show an association between types of fungi and specific cancers, they don’t show whether fungi play a role in how cancer affects people, Bhatt tells Nature News’ Max Kozlov. ...

Straussman estimated that some tumors may have one fungal cell for every 1,000 to 10,000 cancer cells. He tells Stat News that on the higher end, “it could still be one million fungal cells in a tumor, which could have a big effect on cancer biology.” ...

Me neither... What should be surprising, especially at the level of research around cancer, is that they did not find this until now.

Uh oh....  A Fungus among us.

If there is a  new species found, I hope they call it The Faucii Mold.

In honor of that parasite who probably killed more people than COVID.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

Wouldn't surprise me that they know, but as usual, they bury it to keep the pharmacopia cash cow spewing out money.

Recall reading in the last 10 years about a young girl who had a massive brain tumor. The doc believed it was virus driven, can't remember what he injected her with but the tumor collapsed like a balloon with a short period of time. Surprised the article even slipped thru the cracks.

How much of the 'research' money has been spent just telling people not to smoke? I 'get' the idea behind prevention, but how many ads do you need?

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

It's a racket. The same people telling everyone that butter is bad and selling margarine in it's stead are the same ones saying now that margarine is bad and selling butter instead.

At some point you just have to quit listening to their bullcrap and eat what Yah says is good.

Last week I had butter on my grocery list. As I grabbed a pound of of the shelf, I  noticed an item labeled "vegan butter." LOL, that's margarine! They probably get dummies to pay higher prices for it than if they labeled it as margarine.

LOL! Yeah, they have an angle to sell about everything. Fortunately, I am in a position that most of what I eat don't come in a wrapper, so I am pretty immune... I don't pay none of it no mind.

Odd doctors seem to reject that a combination of natures biological organisms do not attack the human body in combined attacks.  I have long suspected that various groups of molds, mildew, bacterias, parasites, virus's, on occasions attack individuals with the right combinations over throwing the bodies defenses.  Many Doctors seem to reject opening their eyes to what is most beneficial to their patients.  Even co=vid is affected by many natural substances that can eradicate or keep co-vid suppressed.

As the government seems pleased they have forced most people to take the dubious and even toxic vaccines,
and suppressing coroner reports of many people dying of mysterious congestion's.  It is easily noticeable in youtube the number of famous people dying looks to be climbing like a rocket, daily

On that general note most beneficial byproducts of mold (notably penicillin) are used to disrupt aspects of cell function in organisms which we find to be dangerous or at least just plain nasty.
It isn't hard to imagine a fungus that would inhibit the body's ability to identify and remove cancerous cells, allowing them to reproduce. Those fungi should be studied, for insight into how the cancer is enabled to overwhelm the immune system, or for what triggers the cancerous growth.
