Elon Musk Lights up the Internet With Ukraine Peace Deal Proposal
By Nick Arama | 6:15 PM on October 03, 2022

Tesla head Elon Musk created a furor among many on the left and some of those supportive of Ukraine when he posted a poll with a proposed peace deal between Ukraine and Russia in it.

Musk said he thought that this was likely to be the outcome in the end but that it was “just a question of how many die before then.”

Musk indicated that he was concerned about what would happen to Ukraine if Russia went all-in. “Russia is doing partial mobilization. They go to full war mobilization if Crimea is at risk. Death on both sides will be devastating. Russia has >3 times population of Ukraine, so victory for Ukraine is unlikely in total war. If you care about the people of Ukraine, seek peace.”

Russia Says Thanks Elon Musk, We Love You Too

The Byte by Noor Al-Sibai 10/4/2022

"He’s worthy of a promotion to the next officer’s rank."

The Kremlin is lauding its occasional foe Elon Musk after he — quite unpopularly, in many circles — advised Ukraine to give in to Russia's demands.

After Musk posted a controversial Twitter poll — yes, he really tried to do foreign relations via Twitter poll — that infuriated Ukrainians and their allies, multiple Kremlin officials took to the Telegram messaging app to issue some slightly backhanded praise for the SpaceX and Tesla CEO's remarks.

As the independent Russian news site Meduza notes, a translated Telegram update posted by Russian presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said that it was "actually quite positive" that Musk was, "unlike professional diplomats," seeking "a path towards peacefully resolving the situation."

"Musk tries to find a way towards reaching peace," Peskov continued. "And reaching peace is completely impossible without meeting Russia’s conditions."

Elon, go screw.

1.) Re-doing elections legitimizes Russia's interference, invasion, occupation, and genocide in Ukraine.  Putin is finishing the extinguishment of Ukrainian language, culture, and language that Stalin did not complete.

2.) Kruschev gave Crimea to Ukraine.  When the Soviet Union dissolved, Crimea was within Ukraine's boundaries.

3.) Nothing to Crimea until the Russians leave permanently.

4.) Ukraine aligns itself with whomever they want.

Russia's occupation and annexation of Ukrainian territory is akin to Hitler's occupation and annexation of the Sudetenland and Austria.

Elon, what does Putin have over you?

Russia already ran out or killed those in the annexed regions that lived there.

Too late for any "vote" about it. Perhaps if you included all of Ukraine in the vote but otherwise, no way.

Death to the invader.

No, Elon.

The vote to establish an independent Ukraine was adopted by every single region via a vote in 1991.
