Doctors have a macabre new way to harvest organs

Outside the few minute window after the patient codes, the body releases enzymes which start the decay process and render the organs less usable with time (pretty quickly).

But consider, with cost estimates of a cool million for a healthy heart, over 100K for liver and each kidney, down to 10 bucks a square inch for skin, most people are ''worth' more parted out than living, at least to those with the knife. Does this cause a 'rush' to 'harvest'?

Or are you worth more as a patient than a donor?

I'ma gonna be bear poop... So I think that process renders the organs useless.  :shrug:
