Exactly why I never went to a reunion, try and guess which side of that I'd be on

By the time my senior year hit I was only taking one English course, out of school before 11AM and at my job by 12 and really happy.

I was never part of a clique. I married in high school (no, I didn't "have to") and had a work permit the last two years that let me out at noon. I really didn't know those people then...I sure don't know them now. Never been to a reunion.

That was pretty much how it was at my school. However, there were many not in any cliques (loners), and at a reunion I feel like a third wheel on a bicycle. BTW, my 50th is in '26. It's back east a couple thousand miles so I will not be there.
