J6 panel rushes to cram election altering legislation through before Congress changes hands

The clock is ticking down on the Democrats’ sham J6 committee with members in a mad scramble to push for election altering legislation prior to the upcoming midterms and the prospect of the party losing its iron-fisted grip on both chambers of Congress.
Having fallen flat with the public during its disastrous summer season of boring hearings that failed to deliver the expected ratings bonanza and no definite schedule set for the resumption of the televised Soviet-style spectacle, the focus could shift to getting something on paper that can pass the House while Democrats are in the majority and draw enough anti-Trump RINOs in the upper chamber to send any potential bills to President Joe Biden.
“We have some minor factual loose ends to wrap up, but then really what we need to do is to make our sweeping legislative recommendations about what needs to be done to fortify America against coups and insurrections and political violence in the future,” said J6 kingpin Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), a veteran of the failed impeachments, according to The Hill.
“We want to strengthen and fortify the electoral system and the right to vote. We want to do what we can to secure the situation of election workers and keep them safe from violence. We want to solidify the states in their determination that private armed militias not operate in the name of the state. You know, we don’t have any kind of federal law or policy about private armed militias,” the Maryland Democrat added, conjuring phantoms while “saying the last point was a personal interest of his,” the outlet reported.
Raskin hasn’t spoken so openly to imposing draconian new laws against “militias” as he has been to more radical ideas such as the dismantling of the Electoral College.
