Gov. DeSantis activates National guard to assist Department of Corrections staffing issues

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis issued an executive order Friday to activate the National Guard to assist the Florida Department of Corrections, in hopes of providing relief to staff vacancies within the state's prisons.

Executive Order 22-213 was activated by DeSantis to deploy to National Guard to the following locations: Northwest Florida Reception Center, Reception and Medical Center, and Calhoun, Franklin, Hamilton, Jackson, Mayo, Santa Rosa, and Union Correctional Institutions.

According to the FDC, Florida National Guard members will supplement security posts at select institutions, under the direction of the Warden and facility command staff.

Guardsman will be trained from FDC’s staff development office to give them the knowledge necessary to work alongside Florida’s corrections professionals. ...........

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Love this guy's ability to ID the issue, and come up with solutions when warranted.

Has the best interests of his constituents always first as priority, no matter how much the left may gig him.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.
