Republicans are extremists. That’s been the predominant narrative for years, backed by horrendous positions such as not wanting to kill babies and securing the border. As I write this, I’m can’t help but flinch in terror just thinking about the possibility of lower tax rates and energy independence. Truly, the GOP is an awful entity hellbent on destroying the nation.

Democrats, on the other hand, represent our better angels. Peaceful and a picture of sanity, they’d never do anything like demand the destruction of the judiciary if they don’t get their way. And certainly, they wouldn’t threaten civil war if they lose in November’s mid-terms.

You have to admire the abject hypocrisy on display by those who simultaneously claim to be defenders of democracy and decency. These are the same people who obsess over January 6th and believe Liz Cheney is going to save the country. Yet, here we are, with Kathy Griffin, infamous for holding up a bloody faux-Trump head, proclaiming that if her side doesn’t win, it means war.

And before the “clarifications” start to flow (David Weissman has already deleted his tweet), let’s be clear about what is being said. While the defense will likely be that Griffin actually meant Republicans would start a civil war, that makes no sense. Why would Republicans start a civil war after winning an election and retaking power? No, the indication in Griffin’s comment is clear: Give Democrats what they want or they will lash out violently.

While peace is still possible, we ought to pursue political, even geographical solutions to our national division.

But let us not deny that such division exists and cannot continue endlessly unresolved, and our Republic still endure.

In reality, it's going to be police with federal powers granted by Executive Order who will the initial 'enemy' of MAGA people.

Imagine that scary video we all saw recently where they were training these obese, Section8 'applicants' trying out for the 87K IRS Collection Enforcement Unit? 

So...if they get turned back/dealt with...guess what?  NOW come US Army battalions, which have been recently scrubbed/disinfected of unvaccinated free thinkers and assorted Conservatives.

Well, the fight is for our kids, not us.  Do we continue to kick the can down the road as we have been doing for 50 years or do we stand and say enough is enough?
Trump is not fighting for himself,  he is fighting for his kids future.
Not advocating aggression, but not sure passiveness will get us where we need to be, and will push the issue to our kids and grand kids to solve.

Republicans are not going to do anything, MAGA or not.

And Dems are too f***ed up to think that through to do anything.  If they did, they would just end. 

We could face anarchy for a period of months.  Police will not be in evidence, for they will be busy defending their own homes.  With JIT everything, the shelves are bare in 24-48 hours.  When the electric grid goes down, there is no fuel, no transportation, etc, so we have to hunker in our own homes.

How long before roving bands of thugs begin breaking into homes to steal everything not nailed down?  I give it one week.  After that, the blood bath begins, and those armed properly will be able to a degree defend their homes.  But the blood bath will be huge of thugs marauding the land. 

If it goes one year, perhaps as many as 100 million Americans will die from starvation, disease, exposure to extreme heat or cold, and thug violence.  What emerges after 3, 6, 12 months could be anything.  The USA as we have known it  I believe has ended.  Biden intends to implement fascist totalitarian rule, or should I say Obama intends to implement that.

While I agree, this is a war of words, and hopefully will never need go beyond that, I think, considering the endless rhetoric of war from the Left, we'd better walk our neighborhoods with a tactical eye, consider our options if things go poorly.

It's that or shuffling to the cattle cars.

For now, the option is simple: no violence except in self defense, and not that if it can be avoided.

The Left is itching to go full totalitarian, and the path around that is peaceful.
