FBI Blasted for ‘Staged’ Photo of Documents Seized in Mar-a-Lago Raid

Jordan Dixon-Hamilton 31 Aug 2022

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is under fire for a recent photo that showcased documents the Bureau seized from Mar-a-Lago scattered across the floor, leading some to call out the photos for being “staged.”

The photo was included in a DOJ filing submitted late Tuesday that opposed former President Donald Trump’s request for an independent review of the documents the FBI seized from his estate earlier this month.

The photo, which showed several redacted documents and others that were marked “TOP SECRET,” quickly made its way to social media after the DOJ submitted its filing to Federal Judge Aileen M. Cannon.

“DOJ wins daily PR battle with photo of classified documents strewn across floor at Mar-a-Lago,” Washington Examiner chief political correspondent Byron York noted. “Story is Trump alleged mis-handling of classified documents, and just look at them — scattered all over the floor! Can you believe it?”

York then shared a screenshot of a tweet from verified user Cheri Jacobus who posted the DOJ photo and said, “This is how Trump stored Top Secret material he stole.”

Either Byron York or Jonathan Turley wrote about the picture, wondering about the purpose.

Police pictures come in two flavors.  First are the "crime scene" photos, where the location of everything is undisturbed for later evaluation.  The second kind of pictures are the "trophy shots" like a picture of all the guns and drugs the police legally seized spread out in display.

The Mar-a-Lago picture the FBI released is neither of those things because it's "propaganda."

Those TOP SECRET cover sheets can easily be procured from the government by the FBI. They could have easily got their hands on a ream of TOP SECRET cover sheets and then just lay them on top of any papers they found. For all we know, those cover sheet were paper clipped on a recipe for chicken soup. They can put TOP SECRET on anything or nothing at all and who would know the difference?

It was said from the minute the raid was launched, the FBI was there to plant surveillance devices (bugs) and to plant evidence. This photo does nothing to dispel that belief.

The purpose of the raid was not to find incriminating evidence on Trump. The purpose of the raid was to seize whatever evidence Trump had on Biden/Hunter and Hillary/Comey. The Biden Administration as a whole, wanted to scrub whatever evidence Trump may have on them.

catfish1957:
If there is any truth to the Steele dossier scandal, the FBI/DOJ  has balls claiming any published evidence is legit around their vendetta against Trump.

How many times do we have to regurgitate the "Not This Shit Again" meme before someone takes action.
