TOTALLY MEANINGLESS!
The situation in the Middle East with Israel and the Palestinians is like you or me playing Whack-a-Mole. Pound one head into the machine, another pops up right off, and another and another. Israel accomplished NOTHING!!!
Until they get smart and end whole cities and kill the Palestinians into long term submission, the killing of Israelis will continue unabated. The mussies are homicidal maniacs, and they are trained to be that way from the time they can hold a rifle.
@jafo2010 And there-in lies the problem. The Israeli's would have to take out EVERY fundie Islamic nation in the world because they are ALL batshit crazy. Being batshit crazy is a fundamental (pun intended) requirement to BE a fundie anything,especially a fundie Muslim.
1: Israel is not capable of doing this because they just don't have the resources.
2: If Israel DID have the resources to take out every fundie Islamic nation in the world,they would be fools/insane to even try the above. Can you ever begin to imagine the "breaking news alerts" if Israel formed their own SS?
3: Not EVERY fundie Muslim lives in a fundie Muslim nation,and not every Muslim is a fundie.
4: Since there is no such thing as 100 percent dedicated followers to ANYTHING,Israel would be murdering innocent men,women,and children due solely on their religious beliefs.
5. If it suddenly becomes acceptable to wipe out entire population of people based on their religious viewpoints and what they MIGHT do,the next thing you know it will be YOU and YOUR religion someone is trying to take off the planet.
Of even people like me,who think there is no such creature as "the big guy in the sky".
It just flat can NOT be done militarily. The ONLY way to eliminate a religion is to convince people that it is NOT a religion and is nothing more or less than a front for a group of con artists or outright nutcases looking to arrest and murder anyone that disagrees with them.
Good luck with that one. Things like military crusades to enforce religious views on others and/or kill all non-believers went out of fashion after the Catholic inspired and funded "Crusades" ended.
Or at least ended from the Christian POV. The problem is it never ended from the Muslim fundie POV.
The only practical thing those of us who are not fundie Muslims can do is to organize a global effort to isolate these cretins in their home nation,and them seal the borders. Nobody in or out until they finish killing and eating each other.
We may have to occasionally resupply them with weapons and ammunition,but that should be ALL we give them,and establish a VERY firm "no refugee status for ANYONE in a leadership position,or who has a family member in a leadership position.
And,of course,we are NOT going to do this for a variety of reasons,one being that the Muslims are only doing it now because we,the people of the western nations,are allowing them to do it.
Like I wrote above,seal off their borders to keep any of them from escaping,and then start making occasional weapons,ammo,and food drops so they can eventually end up killing each other off.
Treat Islam like the infectious disease that it is using every method possible.
