That's funny, because in the Primary I preferred anybody but Robson.  I've freaking had it with the McCainiacs, of which she was a very big one.

She gets called that because she's been involved with the Establishment GOP since Reagan, and was a butt-buddy of John McCain, and that's how.  One needs to observe and learn on your own because Politico will NEVER tell you that.

Find someone who has lived in AZ for 40 or more years, and listen to that person.

Most recent poll has Lake closing to within 2 points. 

Hobb's commercials are pretty uninspiring (Youtube). 

She just does not strike me as being very "in control".

It seems the GOP generally conceded the late summer to the DEMs.  Here in Pennsylvania, we saw very little political advertising from Mastriano and Oz. Now they are both running ads, and it looks like the polls are narrowing as they are able to educate the public a bit better on where their opponents really are on the issues.  Interestingly, Shapiro has been using the airwaves to paint Mastriano as an election-denying white supremacist all summer, with Mastriano with no media buys at all, and Mastriano is still within a couple of points of Shapiro.

I am guessing something similar is going on in Arizona.  The Dems have more money to spend, so they got the opportunity to have the first word.  The problem is they have nothing to sell except fear of the orange man.

The level of bias of reporting has become undeniable, and every interview and article has become a hit piece towards conservatives and the majority of the GOP.  We have instructed our party members to no longer grant interviews, until said outlets show some semblence  of idelological equity that used to be a hallmark of our press.

Completely unnecessary.  The public sees what they are.  DeSantis, Lake and Trump are showing the way to deal with them.  The GOP just needs to show our candidates how not to cower in the face of their bias, and turn it back to them at every turn.

I had some trouble finding funding numbers, but what I did find shows that Lake is low compared to Hobbs.

I worry that the left is going to load up and go after the entire slate in some kind of mass media slander-fest at the last minute. 

I have not been able to watch this one that closely. 

When you have people like Clint Smith starting to cause doubt in people's minds, it may take away enough votes to cost her the victory.

OpenSecrets does not appear to track governors races.

Yes, Hobbs has more cash raised, but she's like Mark Kelly with almost all of it from out-of-state Democrat mega donors.  Speaking of cash, The Bi-Laws of the AZ GOP and the 15 Counties prohibit any donations to Republican candidates prior to the August 2nd Primary.  Now that prohibition is lifted and the Party itself can now contribute to Lake (and Masters), cash is starting to flow.  My County Party is writing significant checks to people like Lake. 

We are a HUGE fundraising County, bringing in a lot more than Maricopa or Pima Counties.

I think Lake and Masters will come out on top.  I have a slew of AZ State Representatives and Senators I'm watching.  Maybe I should post a new thread with the list?  I can say who I am rooting for, but I cannot tell until November exactly why that is....
