Immigration System Buckles Under the Weight of Mayorkas’ Malfeasance
August 04, 2022

A leaked government report says the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) lost track of hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens admitted into this country last year. The report by DHS’s Inspector General (IG) casts more shade on DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ claim that his agency has “effectively managed” the tidal wave of migrants crashing America’s southern border, and gives added ammunition to critics calling for his impeachment.

The yet-to-be-released report found that U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) failed to track one-third of illegal border crossers between March and June 2021, a period during which some 720,000 migrants were “encountered” (not to be confused with “removed”) by Border Patrol agents.

Since Joe Biden entered the White House, more than 1,050,000 illegal aliens have been released into U.S., including thousands with criminal records, while deportations by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have dropped precipitously.

To deal with the influx, the IG report stated that CBP officers used primitive “ad hoc methods” such as white boards to locate released migrants – predictably with little success. “DHS’s IT systems did not effectively allow CBP and ICE personnel to track migrants from apprehension to release or transfer,” the IG concluded.

It's not "malfeasance".
It's "the plan"...
