I'm not a rabid Trumpista, but I certainly appreciate the sentiment of MAGA, namely, Make America Great Again. Why does Meghan find that so troublesome?

To her, like many, MAGA is a four letter word......

And they are using it as a perjorative.

Kinda like "deplorable"...

I have a sweatshirt that says "Proud Deplorable" on it.

Admitting that Daddy was reprehensibly wrong is not easy.
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

Impossible if the person in question has a limited mental capacity.  Everything in that head was spoon-fed to her.

Oh, BTW...both of her parents were/are crooks.

McStain's use of the word MAGA is meant to be derogatory.

But many wear the badge proudly.

I often wonder what it means to Make American Great Again.

To me, America is great.

We've survived a steady stream of stupidity since 2000 in the WH.

And I really don't go for "America is the greatest nation on earth".

I would fully expect Swedes to feel that way about Sweden and Finns to feel that way about Finland.

They don't go touting it.

I think we are a great nation...and could be even greater (better).

Wrong ?

He was worse than wrong.

Much worse in my opinion.

I like the way that notion is presented in the first words in the US Constitution's Preamble:

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union ...

It's always a work in process.

Of course it is.

The problem becomes:

1. We don't agree on what a more perfect union looks like.  I prefer to think of it in terms of liberty (maximum liberty).
2. Others see it differently (healthcare is a human right, which bespeaks a reduction in liberty in my book....at least the way they want to do it.....we do have amessed up health care system.....but Obamacare is NOT a fix).
3. What makes us so good is that we have 50 different systems (although the left is constantly trying to homogonize us).
4. We also have a great process that allows us to change things (and I want to preserve those processes which is why....whenever I catch grief for voting for Trump, I unapologetically say.....Gorsuch, Kavennaugh, Barrett.....then I walk away....I also throw in a thank you to Ruth BG if I want to really annoy them)

I agree with all four points here.

I especially agree with point 3.  The Dems have made it very clear they want to break the 50-State Federal Republic to replace it with some sort of mob blob, and in my opinion this is an existential threat.

I don't see the GOP touting the 10th the way we should be.

Or educating people as to how it works.

I explain it to left-wing co-workers and they find the concept rather attractive.  Using a more local government to achieve their Utopia.  They are welcome to try.  Just don't drag the rest of us with you.

Seriously, I don't see that AZ ever passed one (from memory).

Even in Kansas they wouldn't sustain it.

The federal GOP was mum, totally mum, about anything regarding it.

Up with the 10th.

Repeal the 17th.
