Attorney General Merrick Garland did not rule out the possibility of prosecuting former President Trump for the events of January 6, 2021.

Garland sat down with NBC Nightly News host Lester Holt for an exclusive interview, to discuss the ongoing federal investigation into the rioters who stormed the U.S. Capitol that day.

Asked if indicting a former president would create further division in the country, Garland said the U.S. Justice Department will pursue justice "without fear or favor."

I distinctly remember discussing with some of you (wink-wink) back when Bill and Hillary fired every single attorney in the DOJ.

Now, the F.B.I. and the N.S.A. are also corrupt in a sense that Republican Conservatives are reflexively thought as a virus that needs to go away.

It’s more evidence that DOJ’s investigation on all of this is far more advanced than publicly understood. The April timeframe also tracks with when DOJ first asked for the Jan. 6 committee’s transcripts.

If the GOP can stop the next steal and gets a pair and a spine, this sort of crap opens the door to investigating the criminal activities of Democrats and swamp dwellers, and frankly, the gibbets swinging Democrats and other traitors to the Republic should line I-95 like crucified Spartacans along the roads of Rome.

It has taken over seven years of full bore 'investigation' of Donald Trump to try to find some dirt on him, and the lies and censorship of his comments will eventually be used as 'evidence' against him.
This is an egregious abuse of power by our employees.

Nixon and Bill Clinton, investigators and successive administrations concluded it was better to grant immunity or forgo prosecution. One goal was to avoid appearing to use government power to punish political enemies and assure the tradition of a peaceful transfer of power.
