Mike Pence’s fmr chief-of-staff reportedly cozying up to J6 committee, makes UGLY claim against Matt Gaetz

Marc Short, the former Chief of Staff for Vice President Mike Pence, seems to have wasted little time in cozying up to the Left—appearing on CNN to trash Rep. Matt Gaetz, and reportedly testifying before a grand jury “investigating” the protests of January 6, 2021.
Short was seen last week alongside his attorney, Emmett Flood, leaving a District Court in Washington, D.C., where the grand jury was convening ABC News reported on Monday. That would make Short the highest-ranking person to cooperate with the partisan investigation, in which the Democrats have abandoned even the veneer of impartiality to attack their political enemies in a last-ditch effort before the mid-terms.
“There is a lot of speculation about what the Justice Department is doing,” Attorney General Merrick Garland, a reliable Democratic attack-dog, explained in a press briefing last week, “what’s it not doing, what our theories are and what our theories aren’t, and there will continue to be that speculation. We have to hold accountable every person who is criminally responsible for trying to overturn a legitimate election, and we must do it in a way filled with integrity and professionalism.”
Meanwhile, Short also took the time to appear on CNN to attack Florida representative Matt Gaetz who recently derided Short’s old boss when he spoke at the Turning Point USA conference in Tampa.
“Our America is proudly ultra MAGA, not some low-energy roadside RINO safari,” Gaetz said to great applause. “On that note, let me just say what everybody here knows: Mike Pence will never be president. Nice guy, not a leader.”
