Brit Hume exposes Jan 6 panel Republicans, citing Pentagon memo proving Trump wanted ‘safe event’
July 24, 2022 | Kevin Haggerty

Despite the hyper-partisan efforts of the Jan. 6 committee hearings and their predetermined objective of recommending criminal charges against former President Donald Trump, evidence has continued to mount on the side of reality leading Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume to drop the hammer on Reps. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and Adam Kinzinger (R-IL).

Following Thursday’s primetime edition of the Jan. 6 show trial, investigative journalist and founder of Just the News, John Solomon, called out the committee for deliberately ignoring concrete evidence that destroys their narrative while referencing a specific Pentagon memo. Hume shared that post and included a scathing indictment of his own on the Republican committee members said to be participating in the name of being fair.

“This is the sort of information, while not excusing Trump, that the 1/6 committee’s Republicans would have insisted be part of the hearings, if they were trying to be fair,” he captioned the article before slamming Cheney and Kinzinger, “They are not.”

Former SecDef lays to waste Cheney’s claim Trump did not offer to call up National Guard before Jan. 6
July 25, 2022 | Terresa Monroe-Hamilton

Liz Cheney asserts former President Trump is lying about offering to call up 20,000 National Guardsmen two days before the Jan. 6 riot but comments by former Secretary of Defense Chris Miller and his Chief of Staff Kash Patel claim otherwise.

The Wyoming representative told Fox News host Bret Baier that former Defense Secretary Chris Miller rejected Trump’s claim that he offered to call up the Guard and said he never requested the additional National Guard be deployed to protect the Capitol.

“Several witnesses who say they met with President Trump on Jan. 4th and he offered some 20,000 National Guardsmen to protect the Capitol building on Jan. 6th but the offer was rejected. Is that true? Do you know that to be true?” Baier asked Cheney.

“Well, his own acting secretary of defense says that’s not true. Chris Miller has testified publicly that Donald Trump never issued any order to deploy the Guard, to protect the Capitol. And so I would point people to his own secretary of defense’s public testimony,” Cheney answered.

In this Day and Age of ruling by Executive Order and depending on the Court, the POTUS is Supreme Ruler.  Same as Iran.

If Pres. Trump wanted 20K troops, he shouldn't have "REQUESTED" them, but ORDERED THEM!

Not Cheney's problem if Donald Trump lacks the influence to gain some underling's approval.   /s
