Exclusive video shows NYC’s ATV crackdown didn’t last

Hundreds of dirt bikes, drag racers, ATVs and motorcycles were caught on video tearing up the streets of Washington Heights after police pulled back on enforcement, neighborhood residents charge.

Footage of the brazen “invasion,” which took place July 17 in broad daylight, reveals a flood of the vehicles loudly zooming through the neighborhood.

The crazy convoy “roared up Fort George Hill and then south on Saint Nicholas Avenue — taking up both lanes of traffic, running up on the sidewalks, zooming around cars and pedestrians in terrifying fashion,” an incredulous resident, David Friend, told The Post.

“We feel completely abandoned by the city — we worked with them to provide a solution — which worked — and they abandoned it after just a couple of weeks.”

Mr. Friend, what party have you been voting for, for all of your life...?
