World Economic Forum: Ditch Your Car and Save the Planet

Simon Kent 22 Jul 2022

Is your car really necessary? The World Economic Forum (WEF) doesn’t think so.

It has published a paper that calls for an end to “wasteful” private car ownership in favor of communal sharing to lessen global demands for precious metals and fossil fuels.

The unelected elites in Geneva, Switzerland, argue too many people own private vehicles for the planet’s good. Most are barely driven and a universal model that will take consumers “from owning to using” their cars is the way forward.

“The average car or van in England is driven just 4% of the time,” the WEF paper sets out. Instead of having vehicles sit idle, sell your car and walk or share because “Car sharing platforms such as Getaround and BlueSG have already seized that opportunity to offer vehicles where you pay per hour used.”

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

They're behind the curve - simple market economics has already put this into practice in places where it makes economic sense - mostly dense cities.  There are services like zipcar and revel - and the traditional car rental agencies - where one can get access to a car on an as-needed basis without having to own one - but only if it makes economic sense.

So, they really don't have anything new or fresh to bring to the table, other than their inevitable fascism because, sooner or later, they will insist that governments confiscate private cars and make them communal property.

... only if they ditch theirs fist.

The rich will exempt themselves or they'll contract a car service, thus having use of a car without actually owning one.

When the SHTF, I think the WEF would be a good first stop shop for Tribunals.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

Bicycles and rowboats would emit far less CO2. That's if they're really serious. But I somehow doubt they'll even start flying commercial.

I don't see those rich bastids giving away their entire fortunes to the Blessed Sisters of Charity.

What is the wasteful carbon-footprint of the World Economic Forum?  Dissolving the World Economic Forum would help the Earth's climate by eliminating their wasteful carbon footprint.

That's what it's been about since the beginning. They're not even trying to conceal it any more.

It's an essential part of "the Great Reset" -- eliminate private car ownership, and at the same time force people to congregate mostly in cities.

Dear World Economic Forum - "Kiss My Grits"!
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

It takes me 20-25 minutes to go from my home to my place of employment, door to door. IF I could cobble together some combination of walking to/from bus stops and, probably, two or more buses, it would, at best double my commute time, and more likely triple or quadruple it. The WEF have my invitation to self-fornicate, in cluster or individually.
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

So you're saying the WEF CF's should get together and have a CF? Where would they find the time when they are so busy CF'ing all of us?
