GREENWOOD, Ind. — Police are investigating a shooting at Greenwood Park Mall that happened around 6 p.m. Sunday.

Four people are dead and two others wounded in the shooting. Police tell 13News the shooter is among those dead.

Greenwood Chief James Ison said two others were wounded in the shooting and are being treated at area hospitals.

Ison said a good Samaritan witnessed the shooting and shot and killed the shooter.

The shooter is only identified as an adult male at this time. Police said the shooter had a long rifle and several magazines of ammo.

People inside the mall at the time of the shooting told 13News reporter Logan Gay that they heard 20 gunshots in the food court. IMPD said it appears shots were only fired in the food court area.

IMPD is assisting at the scene and said there is no known ongoing threat, during a news conference at 7:45 p.m.

Multiple police units are going through the mall to make sure there are no people wounded or still sheltering in place.

The continued violence is disturbing; though I find it interesting that the amount of violence being reported has increased significantly since Joe took office.

Is the MSM making it a point to report every incident in order to crush gun rights or is it because liberal cities have defunded the police or cut back? Perhaps the George Floyd riots and insurrection emboldened people to erupt with violence since very little was done to punish people after Floyd died.

Meanwhile, and perhaps I just haven't been paying attention, but BLM and Antifa have been quiet. Not that I see that as a good sign as they are probably busy growing in number and gearing up.

GREENWOOD, Ind. — The four people who died as a result of Sunday’s mass shooting in the Greenwood Park Mall have been identified.

The Greenwood Police Department confirmed that around 6 p.m. Sunday a lone suspect entered the food court of the Greenwood Park Mall, located at 1251 U.S. Hwy 31 North in Greenwood, Indiana. The suspect then shot into the mall, killing three people and injuring two more. The shooter was shot and killed by a man visiting the mall.

On Monday, the Johnson County Coroner’s Office and Marion County Coroner’s Office announced the four adults killed in the shooting.

The deceased have been identified as Pedro Pineda, 56, of Indianapolis and his wife Rosa Mirian Rivera de Pineda, 37. Victor Gomez, 30, of Indianapolis, has also been confirmed as one of the victims.

FOX59 has also confirmed the identity of the gunman as Johnathan Douglas Sapirman, 20, of Greenwood. Sapirman reportedly entered the mall with a rifle and several magazines. He shot and killed three people before an armed citizen killed Sapirman.

According to police, Sapirman doesn’t drive and walked to the mall. Sapirman was armed with a Sig Sauer M400 semi-automatic rifle along with another rifle and a pistol. He had more than 100 rounds of ammunition with him, authorities said.

Police said Sapirman went into the restroom at 4:54 p.m. and didn’t emerge from the restroom and start shooting until an hour and two minutes later.

Police identified the Good Samaritan who shot and killed Sapirman as 22-year-old Elisjsha Dicken.

According to authorities, Pedro and Rosa were sitting and eating when Sapirman opened fire and shot them. Gomez was outside the restroom when he was shot.

First of all he could have had the rifles concealed in a duffle bag, second Indiana just changed their laws regarding carrying a gun so we don't know how that played into it. One thing I am really curious about is how long will it take for us to find out that once again we are dealing with a known mental case in this kid. Will we learn that he was unemployed and daddy knowing he was screwed up bought him a $1000 dollar rifle(which comes with a 30 round mag) or will it be another mystery acquisition?

So this my question about this weekends shooting and the hero that stopped it. The anti 2A types are saying there was a "no guns allowed" policy. Was it an actual posted penal code law like Texas does with 30.06 and 30.07 or was just one of these:

Because it if was just a sign like above and not an actual penal law code for city/county/state it makes a difference from what I've been taught as to whether or not you're violating a suggestion by the establishment or actual law and the punishment that comes with it.

And if it was just the sign/suggestion...then the hero of the Greenwood Mall shooting wasn't doing anything illegal carrying in the mall and another piece of the Left's narrative on this case is destroyed.
