by Staff | Jul 16, 2022

Memphis Police are being praised for stopping what could have been a horrific terrorist attack after the Yo Gotti concert at the FedEx Forum. Click here to follow KWAM on Facebook.

Police arrested a 28-year-old man early Saturday morning and discovered a cache of weapons inside his apartment. Officers had assistance from ATF agents.

Elijah Hyman is accused of threatening to “kill himself and everyone he saw coming from an event being held at the FedEx Forum,” according to a police department statement.

Spade TV, quoting unnamed police sources, say the Hyman had six rifles and thousands of rounds of ammo inside the apartment.

“He says he planned to kill as many people as possible,” Spade TV reported.

Hyman apparently came unglued after his girlfriend announced she was breaking up. ... More from KWAM

I suspect Hyman has been unglued for longer than they think.

Yeah, yeah, maybe what really set him off was everyone calling him Buster.

Memphis police arrest man who ‘wanted to kill himself and everyone he saw’ at Yo Gotti show
Muri Assunção - Yesterday 8:50 PM

Memphis police on Saturday arrested a man who they say “wanted to kill himself and everyone he saw coming from an event being held at the FedEx Forum,” a multi-purpose arena where rapper Yo Gotti was celebrating his eighth annual Birthday Bash.

According to the Memphis Police Department, officers responded to “an armed mental consumer call” in the 200 block of South Main Street just before 3 a.m.

When they arrived at the scene, they were confronted by the suspect, 28-year-old Elijah Hyman, and his girlfriend. ... NY Daily News via MSN

@Wingnut

If it hasn't been broken yet,it will be soon.

BTW,this guy is a cracka and it was a primarily black/superior being concert he was planning on attacking.

More good news for him is that it will be a LOOOOONG time before another girlfriend breaks up with him.

Oh mercy.  :silly:  :thud:

That's how I read it.  I was thinking, "He wouldn't be likely to see many people leaving the event after he killed himself, so what were they worried about?"
Let it burn.

A brief anecdote illustrating the concept:

A man comes home early from a fishing trip to find his wife in bed with his best friend.  Furious, he pulls out a pistol from a drawer and points it at his own head. The wife and besty start laughing, so he says, "Don't laugh!  You're next!"
