Germany’s Self-Inflicted Energy Catastrophe

Germany is the first major nation to undertake such an effort, and, as hoped for, their early adoption of renewables has catalyzed a spectacular drop in costs for those technologies.

And now, without coal or nuclear, and facing a gas embargo from Russia, Germany is staring a massive recession, or worse, in the face.
