Biden DOJ Rolls Out ‘Reproductive Rights Task Force’

On Thursday, Joe Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ) announced the creation of a new task force aimed at increasing access to abortion and other so-called “reproductive rights” following the historic Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade.

According to CNN, the “Reproductive Rights Task Force” will be chaired by Associate Attorney General Vanita Gupta. The group’s purpose will be to “monitor and evaluate” abortion laws at the state and local levels, including bans on abortion-inducing drugs and laws imposing criminal charges for those who aid and abet abortions.

“The Court abandoned 50 years of precedent and took away the constitutional right to abortion, preventing women all over the country from being able to make critical decisions about our bodies, our health, and our futures,” Gupta said in a statement, falsely equating abortion with constitutional rights. “The Justice Department is committed to protecting access to reproductive services.”

Biden had previously signed an executive order that intended to use the full force of the federal government to protect abortion. Following the announcement, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued its own guidance for healthcare providers with regards to abortion.

In his speech, where he frequently slurred his words and made numerous mistakes, Biden specifically called on the DOJ to take action. “Much like they did in the civil rights era,” Biden said, ordering the DOJ “to do something, to do everything in their power to protect these women seeking to invoke their rights.”

I don't think that the name of the task force accurately describes its purpose, It should rightly be called the Infanticide Rights Task Force because that is the one and only thing it is concerned with.

If the Dems had stones, they'd impeach the justices who lied to Senators, under oath and under punishment of perjury, about respecting the Roe v Wade precendent.

If the GOP can impeach Clinton for lying about Monica Lewinsky under oath, surely the Dems can impeach Supreme Court justices for purjuring themselves, under oath, to US Senators.

Tell me, which of the current justices, especially the liberal ones did not misrepresent their positions or how that would rule on certain subjects? How many dems and republicans in both houses lied as they swore their oath on the Bible or Koran?

Perjuring yourself, under oath, to US Senators is certainly more egregious than a US President lying about inappropriate sexual relations with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky, during a legal deposition.

DOJ? Reproductive Rights? I can easily guess that nobody alive today familiar with the American government and basic civics ever thought they would read that headline.

But! The most important legal law enforcement issue of the day is 'abortion'?
