All red dots are farmers protesting in the #Netherlands. The media here in Norway haven't written a single piece on what's happening. Mainstream media is obviously bought and paid for, if this is not news, what is? True headline in Norway right now "modell sells apartment"🤡🌍

No, this is more about govt control over the food supply by regulation.

No, it’s not.  It’s about misguided environmental regulation.

You're both right.
Let it burn.

As an anecdotal aside...

I have recently listened to two different refugees from two different socialist dictatorships... One from Cuba, and another from North Korea. In BOTH cases, the refugee was nearly weeping with joy over the taste of steak. In both cases they said that cattle are titled (like a car) in their former countries. That the government wholly controls the sale of cattle (to include a death cert and distribution records thereafter).

Distribution and sales are controlled to make beef extremely rare in local markets and too expensive for commoners. It seems to be a pattern.

That may put a different twist on the motive in this case.

FYI: ....to reduce emissions...without it a newer diesel will not run.
Now I am beginning to wonder whether the new restrictions on fuel oil enacted by the International Maritime Organization may still have some work stoppage to protest?  If there is, this would be calamitous on worldwide trade.

With the burgeoning cost of fuel for shipping, there is likely pushback in the mandated (and costly) fuel requirements.

I think we could all use a good old-fashioned climate fight, eh?

If you want to know that the future of the Netherlands holds if they continue to enact the globalist agenda, check out what is happening in Sri Lanka now.  They enacted the globalist agenda in the last few years, and the country has descended into chaos as their economy has collapsed:

Turmoil in Sri Lanka as thousands protest
Let it burn.

@PeterSweden7
In the Netherlands the government is planning on FORCING farmers to sell their farms to the state to meet climate goals.
In Belgium they are talking about an "environment tax" on meat.
The EU just decided to BAN new diesel and petrol cars from 2035.
This is Climate Communism.

From the look of the tractor driver, looks like some of the farmers are not simple Dutch folks either.

The limitations have to do with nitrogen oxide and ammonia releases.

Nitrogen oxide is a pollutant and contributes to the formation of smog and acid rain.

Fertilizer in soil can result in nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions, not nitrogen oxide (NO) emissions.  Big difference.  N2O doesn't cause smog nor does it create acid rain.  But it is an ozone killer and a greenhouse gas.

The obvious solution here is to use slow-release fertilizer, not to starve the planet.

If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."

The World Economic Forum Wants the Dutch Farmers’ Lands

M Dowling  |  July 10, 2022

The following clip and summary come from an interview by Ezra Levant of Rebel News with a Dutch activist. She discusses the Nitrogen Policy pushed by the World Economic Forum, and its role in stealing farmland. Don’t underestimate Bill Gates’ role either.

The Netherlands doesn’t need a Nitrogen Policy. It isn’t a crisis and nitrogen isn’t a problem. Holland is a small country surrounded by larger countries that don’t have to abide by a Nitrogen Policy. The real reason for the policy is the Dutch government wants the land.

Farmers are ungovernable in the sense that they are self-sustaining and own a lot of land.

Prime Minister Mark Rutte is very deeply embedded in The Great Reset of the World Economic Forum.

The Dutch minister who has pushed this nitrogen law has a brother-in-law who owns the Dutch online supermarket called PICNIC.

Bill Gates invested 600 million Euros in PICNIC last year. PICNIC is building the most sustainable European supermarket.  .  .

So, just good old-fashioned corruption.  The large grocer wants to own the farms that supply a lot of his merchandise, and he’s using his connections with government to force the acquisition against nonconsenting farmers and landowners.
