Van Flies Off Car-Carrying Trailer After Crashing Into Fort Lauderdale Overpass
A car-carrying trailer that was stacked a little too high crashed into an under-construction overpass in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on June 19.
Video recorded off a dashcam by a Floridian who wishes to remain anonymous captures the dramatic moment when a van atop a car-carrying trailer hits an overpass and flips onto the roadway in a cloud of dust.
According to local media, no injuries were reported from the incident.
“Thank goodness that the van that fell off the trailer barely missed the SUV [behind it], and there were no casualties,” the source told Storyful.
“It seemed because the overpass has been under construction that the height of the overpass was lower.”
