Chicago's richest man is leaving Mayor Lori Lightfoot's (D) city and taking his $22 billion company with him.

Ken Griffin, a hedge fund billionaire worth nearly $29 billion, announced he had moved from Democratic-led Illinois to Republican-led Florida .

Florida is also set to become the new home of Citadel Securities, a company valued at around $22 billion, according to a report.

While not stated in a letter to employees, Citadel officials reportedly said crime was a critical factor in the decision to move.

"If people aren't safe here, they're not going to live here," he said in a recent interview. "I've had multiple colleagues mugged at gunpoint. I've had a colleague stabbed on the way to work, countless issues of burglary. I mean, that's a really difficult backdrop with which to draw talent to your city from."

The move will have a negative impact on the financial condition of Lightfoot's Chicago, the report noted.

This is the path to ghettodom. When businesses and law-abiding people leave a city, the city turns into what remains.

The Democrats do this over and over and never learn a thing from it.

Am also betting that the Illinois Department of Revenue will undertake some exhaustive audits of his company to look for 'discrepancies'.

If IL is like the State of NY, truly disentangling from IL taxes has been made difficult.
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.
