Tinker Air Force crews are preparing for their first-ever Pride Flight.
The flight is to show support to their service members in the LGBTQ community in honor of Pride month.
The airmen at the base are feeling the support from their fellow airmen and their leadership for Pride month. Starting Thursday, they’re taking to the skies.
"So, I gave him some ideas and some tips on how to actually execute it all, and I passed it off to him and he took it and ran. Here we are today getting ready to fly on the story tomorrow and execute the mission," said Trenton Dickey, air battle manager at Tinker.
The first flight of its kind is to show support to their fellow LGBTQ airmen, with 32 airmen on board the jet.
