From Schumer to Jane’s Revenge to Joe Biden, they are setting the stage for political violence in reaction to a final ruling in Dobbs.

You need to see his face and hear his voice. Addressing a pro-abortion rally outside the Supreme Court on March 4, 2020, Democrat Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer was talking about upcoming Supreme Court decisions that could overturn the Roe v. Wade decision which created a constitutional right to abortion in America.

Schumer said, “I want to tell you, Gorsuch; I want to tell you, Kavanaugh: You have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price. You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.”

Later that day, Chief Justice John Roberts correctly said that Schumer’s words were “not only inappropriate; they are dangerous.” Schumer had threatened the lives and safety of two justices. His words were an attempt to intimidate the entire court and influence its decision.

Both threats and actual acts of political violence are now popular among progressives these days principally because progressive governors, mayors, and district attorneys — not to mention our progressive president and attorney general — are willing to tolerate any sort of violence as long as it is committed by favored constituents.

The crime wave now engulfing American cities and towns is not relevant to this discussion. Political violence is our concern here because it directly threatens our constitutional system of government.
