Folks need to learn from White Settlement church members.

BTW, I notice Youtube has removed the actual defensive shooting taking down the perp.

I wonder why?

Do not wish people to see records of how to use guns to defend oneself?

From the article:

Quote
The shooting is part of a wave of highly-scrutinized gun violence in the U.S. On May 14, a gunman killed 10 Black people at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York. Another racist attack happened when a gunman attacked Taiwanese parishioners at a church in Southern California. The following week, a gunman massacred 19 children and two adults at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas.

The shooting I highlighted was at a Taiwanese congregation, and the victims are from Taiwan. BUT, the perp is mainland Chinese. How is an ethnic Chinese person killing ethnic Chinese people "racist"?

More on-topic, many churches have formed security teams, often comprised of LEOs (former and current), fire fighters, and people with medical experience. At my church those LEOs who choose may be armed, or not. Perhaps either this Episcopal church did not have such a security team, or no members were present at the gathering.

30 or 40 years ago, shootings like this were almost unthinkable, but after several decades of children being taught they are the highest animal evolved so far, moral absolutes being replaced with "my truth", human life being devalued by abortion, and demagogic politicians and certain kinds of activists demonizing Christians and Jews ...
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

Mr. M and I  are members of our congregation's armed security team. We received extensive training from an experienced LEO. We cover every event at the church, including vacation Bible school in a couple weeks.

‘Hero’ Church-Goer Subdued Active Shooter, Police Say
By  Daniel Schmidt
Jun 17, 2022   DailyWire.com

Police announced on Friday that a “hero” church-goer subdued an active shooter who killed two people and injured another at an Alabama church on Thursday night.

The lone suspect, who was an “occasional attendee of the church” and a 71-year-old white male, attended a dinner at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church on Thursday night, Vestavia Hills Police Department Captain Shane Ware stated during a press conference on Friday morning. The suspect began shooting at some point with a handgun, striking three victims, until he was stopped by a church-goer.

“Another attendee at the event subdued the suspect, and held him down until law enforcement arrived,” Ware reported. Ware referred to the person who subdued the suspect as a “hero,” noting that the act of heroism was “extremely critical in saving lives.” ... Daily Wire

When a reporter asked Ware if police knew what motivated the suspect, Ware said that “it is still being looked into by too many agencies.”

WTF does that mean?

Maybe the local police are not too keen seeing feds enter their turf?
