Poll: Texas Gov. Greg Abbott Leads Democrat Beto O’Rourke by 19 Points

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) is ahead of his Democrat challenger, failed presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke, by 19 points, according to a new poll.

Blueprint Polling found that 56 percent of Texas voters support Abbott, compared to 37 percent support for O’Rourke. An additional seven percent of Texas voters remain undecided ahead of November’s general election.

As bad as Abbott is, Robert Francis would be MUCH worse.

Knew that cheesy publicity stunt he pulled at offical Uvalde presser (Day 2 of tragedy) would backfire like a mofo.

And just think....   this is a dim POTUS contender in '20.  And is now down by 20% to a weakened governenor?   Just shows how shitty the dimocratic party's bench strength is.

On the other hand, the rematch between Trump and Biden is showing the same result.  Republicans need to nominate somebody who doesn't force the party to spend money in Texas.  Won't matter though.

The fact that Mr. O'Rourke -- who would "take away their AR-15's" --  is STILL gonna end up with about 40% of the total votes cast ought to give right-thinking Texans sumthin' to think about.
