Filmmaker Michael Moore continues calls for the Second Amendment to be repealed: 'You don't need a gun'
Moore wants to remove ‘nearly every gun from civilian ownership’

    Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore is calling for the Second Amendment to be repealed and sharing his theory for how to successfully remove "nearly every gun from civilian ownership."       

"We need to start a movement to repeal the Second Amendment and replace it with something that says it’s not about the right of somebody to own a gun, it’s the right of all of us to be protected from gun violence," Moore said Friday on his podcast.

"We have a right to live," he said. "If you’re afraid of somebody breaking in, get a dog… you don't need a gun."

Moore began the latest installment of his "Rumble" podcast by reminding listeners that he appeared on MSNBC and urged the media to call for an end to the Second Amendment the night of the mass school shooting in Uvalde, Texas. He said he stayed away from speaking out after mass shootings for a decade because his 2002 documentary "Bowling for Columbine" made him everyone’s go-to voice to speak out after school shootings, and he didn’t want such appearances to become the new normal.

Despite all the 98 pound chicks beating up guys with 18 inch necks and automatic weapons in Hollywood fare, in the real world, the way to stop a bad guy with a gun (and they will have them no matter what) or a knife or a tire iron or a pipe or just brute force is to have a good person with a gun.

Plain and simple. You are there, then, and no one is going to get to your aid quicker than you.

That means if you are the one with the gun, you get to fill out the paperwork.

Depend on anyone else, and they do, unless you can afford a squadron of bodyguards like some Hollywood pukes.

Gun control is predicated on the assumption that a woman, raped and strangled with her pantyhose, lying dead in her own blood and vomit, is somehow morally superior to that same woman standing over the rapist's dead body explaining to police how he got that bullet hole in his head.

Who turned over Jabba the Putz's boulder? How much you wanna bet lardass has armed security protecting his mansions and him wherever he goes? It's just we he and other left wingers consider the ignorant unwashed that don't deserve to protect themselves. Second Amendment? Hell, Moore has never let actual facts and truth get in the way of his liberal socialist agenda anymore than he let's someone get between him and a buffet table.

It was only enumerated and listed in the Bill of Rights to remind the Government to keep its grubby meathooks off of it.
