Biden announces joint declaration to address immigration issues at Summit of the Americas

The Summit of the Americas is underway and on Friday, President Joe Biden will meet with several heads of state to address the immigration crisis happening right now.

The president pledged Wednesday to find a solution to the problem.

“Safe and orderly migration is good for all of our economies including the US. It can be a catalyst for sustainable growth but all unlawful migration is not acceptable and we will enforce our borders, including through innovative, coordinated action with our regional partners," Biden said.

The president is calling his plan the Los Angeles Declaration and says it's a commitment by several governments to enhance stability, increase opportunities for safe migration and crack down on human trafficking..........

..............Right now, another massive migrant caravan is headed for the U.S. and there are estimates that the group could grow to as large as 15,000 — almost the size of the average crowd at an NBA game.

Because border facilities are overwhelmed and at capacity, the Biden administration plans to transport migrants farther inland and re-route immigrants to other cities including Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston and Albuquerque.............

.............The U.S. Supreme Court recently ruled Border Patrol can make arrests without a warrant within 100 miles of border enforcement zones but Morgan says that this law was already in effect.

“That's always been what they've been able to do,” Morgan said. “Someone challenged that in court so it's just a written statement that they can enforce the law that's been on the books already but the challenge is this administration is allowing them to enforce force the law as it's written.”

He says the frustration is that the Department of Homeland Security is allowing migrants to stay despite having final court orders for removal from an immigration judge................

I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.
